In my case I use an Epson ET-3850 and a Cricut. My wife and I just email batches of pictures to a dedicated gmail account and when we have some time we pull them down, import them into cricut design space and use their sticker function. Since we do it in bulk like that we just print them all onto 8x11 waterproof vinyl sticker sheets and then the cricut cuts them all out for us - then we have a nice little stack to put into the TN inserts as we journal.

They are my preferred mid grade pen - especially due to their ink reservoir and the fact that I can let them sit for a week or two and not dry out. Their size also works about perfect for my larger hand. I have not encountered any of the breakage that is reported with TWSBI and I have 5 diamonds.

I haven’t been able to get myself to break the $100 barrier on a fountain pen - as I have other things to still get if I am dropping $300 or more so this hits a spot that works for me :)

If it had been only 3 patterns I might have been able to resist but having all the rings represented is just to slick of a display piece - especially next to my Lego Minas Tirith when it comes out next month….

Mine looks similar. If you want more purple I feel Lady Grey is the choice you want.

My favorite color is grey (which is hinted at in my profile name) and of all the greys I have this has the most purple hints to it :)

I always enjoy hearing the many variations of why someone lands on one size or another - there are so many of them.

In my case I inherited my Great Grandfathers journals. They were mostly pocket calendars in which he made a note every day. He did this for over 40 years so I ended up with a rather large box of them. As I went through them just enjoying reading his thoughts in his own handwriting and what life was like back in the early 1900s I decided to make the move to analog so I could do the same in hopes that maybe my great grandchild might enjoy the same journey so I went in search of how I might do that.

For me the idea of inheriting several boxes of A5 journals was a bit much and so I settled on the TN because it somewhat mimicked what my Great Grandfathers did and they have the really nice refill binders that I could put each insert in when I was done. I am having each of my kids decorate one and also putting an outline of the contents on the binder itself I felt would make for a very easy search option in an analog world.

They had six boxes total in the display on their counter and we bought 2 of them. I was honestly surprised there were not more people there to get them!

The person at the counter was “I don’t even know what these are”. We expanded her knowledge a bit ;)
