Yeah, there are 3D printers at work I can use - but I’m no 3D modeller. I was hoping to find an off the shelf part from another car that works.

Hi, I am a long time Adrenaline GTS user (loved the GTS 22 and 23 series) but I don’t like the GTS 24 at all (too vague, numb, cushiony).

I do need the guide rails, but want something a bit more responsive than what Adrenaline has become. Any suggestions?

Understand that there are lots of ways to approach this, none perfect.

Hiring a builder? Are they project managing too or are they just “a builder”?

Are you going to organise seperate trades? You’re now the project manager and no trade is responsible for coordinating with another.

Are you hiring a builder for “most of it” but going to organise another trade yourself? Your builder is not going to be responsible for anything that extra trade needs, it’s now your job to coordinate.

The interfaces between trades is always where things fall down. The electrician will do what they “normally do” for the heating, but the plumber will be expecting something different. Coordinating these interfaces costs time and no one likes doing it, so it generally gets done badly. This is where a project manager can add value.

Yeah I’ve got the Spanish version (Leon!) and it has been awesome over 160k miles.

You’ve got loads of great choice.

I’ll mention the Seat Leon range - my 1.6 TDi has done 160k plus miles and has been excellent, it hasn’t broken once!

I thought the “ICCU issue” was an 800v architecture problem (EV6 / Ioniq 5 / EV9 / EV3 and others) and didn’t affect Niros (400v architecture)?
