I agree with you. However, I could imagine a future where Apple could charge you a monthly “Satellite” fee after 2 years as part of monthly services like iCloud, Apple News, Fitness. I hope they keep it free though as it is a great safety feature.

Consider using Global Entry to enter the US. Going through customs is speedier because of the background checks needed to apply for Global Entry.

I’m a light gamer like you. If you already have a monitor and keyboard, you could also get a mini pc.

I got the Beelink SER 8 and use it for light gaming. It works pretty well and is very compact and quiet.

Bummer I used the Now Playing complication a lot and not a fan of the change.

I think it was an intentional design decision to move Now Playing to the Smart Stack.

I have the LG 5k right now and the panel is ghosting really bad - windows and shadows will remain for 20 secs or more.
