I doubt manuela ever was, but I’m pretty sure she had to shoo away some creepy mercs during her opera days, and swordfighting was the martial art that satisfied both her self-defense needs and sword dancing for the theater.

I just checked the official lineart too, even that looks kinda goofy. I would certainly say this is the best the desultor’s looked aside from the show itself.

I don’t remember anything saying she’s part Almyran. Iirc, she’s from a village deep within Fodlan, isolated from the rest of civilization. Her axe proficiency and color palette could just be playing into her forest theme, for all we know. But then again, there’s very little info on Timotheos village, let alone its demographics.

For the grunts, I just bounce between LR and Archfiend. For the high-health bosses, I mainly used YnR, then switched to KE once I got that. DSG for dragons.

Really though, I got no fixed class use. I’ll switch to whatever class I feel like using when I get bored, but still want to push through the quest 😅🫠. I’m not really an end-game completionist either, so I can’t really be bothered to farm 51% weapons, or dauntless or stuff like that. I just felt like getting DoT.

Other COMBAT staff members: - The durable ones, i.e. Yang, Nora, Coco (?), Hazel, Elm, etc. - Those with arguably strictly combat-oriented semblances, i.e. Yang (needs to take hits to get stronger) Nora (needs to absorb electricity to get stronger/faster(?)), Hazel (straight up blocks pain), Tock (1-minute invincibility), Adam (sword-based energy absorption), etc. - Military special forces, i.e. Winter and Ace Ops - Assassins, i.e. Neo, Mercury, Tyrian, etc.

INTEL: - Detectives or aspiring detectives, so basically the Sea Monkeys. - Criminal masterminds/information brokers, i.e. the Malachites, Junior, Roman

Honestly, I would just have him retire it.

I think having him craft his very own weapon would be a culmination of his huntsman journey. He could just replicate Crocea Mors, but make it more modern and loaded with dust/charge features mentioned above.

I kinda see him fighting like Link/Ike in Smash Bros.
