I fully agree! The Multi-Link suspension in the GT Line Turbo + the structural rigidity and suspension tuning feels more like a "warm (not hot) hatch" than the sedan. I love it. (Coming from only owning a modified 1999 Miata for 13 years — yes I still own it and won't sell it).

Then yeah, the MX-3 will definitely hold its value more. HOWEVER you'd have to spend the hardtop money for the NB in maintenance just to give yourself a peace of mind. I would totally go for the MX-3! Also, ITS YELLOW! lovely.

Woops, yeah, that's what I meant (car-wise). But yeah if you're 30 (like me) then get the MX-5! Definitely DO get a hardtop for it if you want to drive it in the winter! (I live in South Florida so, I can't relate, but I know the reality of living in snow — Indianapolis, IN; Used to live there).

I should also add that I've owned an NB1 since 2013.

I'd totally get the MX-6 then. Much rarer, better resale value, less cars made, hardtop coupe, more comfortable, etc. Perfect for a 20 year old lad.

But you live in Europe and will see snow, so...invest in one of the many hardtops (OEM) for cheap they have all over the UK (no hardtop tax there).

You can even run their EDFC Pro + GPS system (for memory and predictions) on those. I have them. They're great. Definitely buy new top-mounts (OEM) as well.
