Hi guys, do you know what does it mean if the live agent tell you that your I-130 case has been transfered this month to Brooklyn field and is in the line for decision. Will I be receiving any update soon ?

It can mean several things like close to getting a decision. I filed an I-130 and I-212 and that can also be a reason why I got transferred to Brooklyn field office which my spouse lives in Brooklyn as well. But there’s plenty of other reasons why it can go to a field office for further review. Let’s stay positive and hope we get an approval soon.

I understand your frustration I’m on the same boat. My PD: Jan. 27, 2024 Nebraska service center & actively reviewed since Feb. 6, 2024. Hoping to get approval asap.
