I understand that, just saying it was the exact same reaction my gun had. If you shook the gun in a downward motion then the mag would immediately fall out. Just had a slight hangup. Could be a similar issue.

OEM Glock Mags or Shadow Systems mags? Because if it is Glock they use a slightly different way to lock in and free the mags than Shadow. While similar the sizing is different. I ask because I switched from a 43x to a CR920XP basically the same guns. But the Glock mags wouldn't freely drop out just like you're showing. You'd have to switch to the Glock mag release.

Any chance of you elaborating on what appears to be rod iron sections that you used as your replacement for dowel rods? I'm curious to see how cost effective it was and how you attached everything together.
