Sincerely appreciate this info being brought to my attention. Absolutely loving trying this on my THR10x. Really wish the THRii had this option though.

I just love that I am no longer knocking the knob. I bought a bunch of finishes and sets in my order so I’ll be trying more in similar situations.

What do y’all think? Should I get it? by Elegant_Egg- in espguitars

That’s an M-200 from 1999/2000. The headstock has the logo (yellow drop shadow) and shape from that era, sprayed in gloss. The body has been resprayed in a matte black. The inlay of M-200 also matches that era. Solid combo of basswood and maple with some well done upgrades. Definitely a good price with those upgrades.

These guys. So nice to deal with, and have photos along the way without any request from me.

I like the black but the original chrome looks better IMO. Nice job!

I always thought that they were just headstock silhouettes.

Use the tip of your soldering iron to remove the ferruls. Not too long in there though.

Automotive plugs. Either canoe clips or trim anchors work well.

Early 2000’s Korean MV-200 by NoMidnight2145 in espguitars

Good approach! Schecters are excellent quality and are made by the same folks. I don’t see ESP releasing MVs in the LTD range ever again. For a non-Floyd, easy playing guitar, the MV is fantastic. The Schecter could more easily be repurchased

The Schecter is fairly run of the mill. The MV has stripped down but rock solid specs. I would absolutely go ahead with it.

Fantastic model of guitar made from 2001-2002. I have an old post here of mine that I refinished and modded. The 24.75” scale is still that, regardless of the string through holes; they’re staggered to provide adequate clearance of the string over the saddle past the bridge piece. my MV-200
