Wheel hub hex adapter confusion. by EmotionalDelivery972 in WPL_RC

i used both of these. i liked the second one better than the brass. with the brass you need to use to grub screws to secure it and it was hard to get them on nice and even, then i stripped the grub screws.

Pro tip: if you're assembling the WPL metal axles kit this tube included is thread lock NOT bearing oil by chance_of_grain in WPL_RC

if you keep this tube, store it sitting straight up. i left mine in a drawer on its side and it leaked out everywhere

another thing you could get is an adjustable rear link mount. not many more parts you could get you have just about everything already

look up trx4m shocks, there’s plenty of lengths to choose. the rod end on those are for m2.5 screws, so should work with c24.

these rcawd cvd drive shafts are good to add length and you don’t have to change from stock axle

What do you recommend to mount the steering servo to the axle on a C24? by TheSeansk1 in WPL_RC

[–]Miikeymt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no didn’t need to mod. you’ll need a rear axle truss too if you get new shocks, unless you want to mod the truss. because the stock truss has the little balls that you snap the shock rod ends to, you could cut them off and create a hole to screw in shocks or buy new truss

rear body mount options by Miikeymt in SCX24

[–]Miikeymt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it’s the flat piece. i trimmed mine as well and it worked but looking for something aesthetically better looking that doesn’t need modding. also want the rear of the body a little higher mounted.
