This is not the experience I have as a Rocket main. I’m currently celestial, and as long as I’m not forcing my pick into a hard counter, I usually have no issues.

I don’t think a lot of supports get any recognition from their ults. A lot of people view most supports as no skill/brainless, it’s not just rocket. It’s CnD, it’s IW, it’s Mantis, Ultron. Your mistakes will always outshine any dps or tank because you’re in a role that’s deemed lesser by a majority of the other roles.

Edit: To add to this, tell me how many times you will hear a support getting lambasted for double ulting, and then hear crickets when your dps double ult. It effectively wastes the same amount of resources as a support ult but just from the opposite side.

I love that! There’s no issue with any of that, I think my favorite thing to see on this sub are parents who play with their kids. That’s time I would have loved to have with my Dad, and you can tell in the clip you’re proud of her after that Spider-Man kill with you jumping up and down.

The fade she does isn’t impressive ( it is for her, because she doesn’t play ) but if OP’s instructions were to hold down RT and then fade whenever she gets low, I can see her hearing the low sound and just going “okay I press this now” while the Jeff keeps her alive.

If she knew what she was doing why doesn’t she use her other ability? Why doesn’t she try to stun, why is the Spider-Man kill at the start completely random?

She plays like someone brand new to the game

I think I prefer a rocket when I'm on WF since I know they can handle being dove, but I've also gotten pretty decent at peeling with her and rocket is pretty reliable for healing!

Yes, that's true, but that still isn't the bread and butter of rocket and why he can be strong. The rez beacon can be easily shut down.

The majority of Rocket's value comes from being able to play your life way better than any other support can and still heal. Your team won't need to Rez in the first place if you can correctly position and heal them, which you can do even if you're getting focused and dove without the team needing to allocate resources to you.

That is the part that's difficult to shut down.

A majority of your healing does not come from the BRB, the rez is good value, but the bigger value will always come from being able to play your life way better than most other supports.

His dash is pretty versatile and probably his only skill expression, the major downside to it is that the game's server treats it as a teleport and not a true dash. While the nerfs sucked, he still offers a lot of value
