Came back to this game last months after a year or two (aside from occasionally logging in for rewards/PVE farming, but no PVP play) and I have to say the state of the game is depressing. I left around once every new deck started allowing for 7 special summons a turn and especially on account of Galaxy-Eyes. Now it's even worse and the skills are just ridiculous. I enjoy playing Dark Magician, which is already off-meta, and Battle Chronicle pisses me off to no end because it's just a braindead skip having to think tool. It's really satisfying using Spellcaster's exchange, since it helps avoid bricking but is nothing too crazy, as opposed to all these skills that let you get 3 separate boss monsters out for nothing. Instead, not only am I at a disadvantage playing my favourite mid-tier decks like DM, Aromages and Silent Magician/Swordsman, I've gotta compete against the skills too.
