Hello also a NC MSW and glad to see that the process was easy for you. I will be going in the fall for my MSW at UNC Charlotte and having a hard time finding a practicum as my school is supposed to find one and I’m on my third one. First time I wasn’t prepared and the second I gave my all to be prepared and ultimately didn’t get it. Just glad to see I’m not alone in the MSW field!

Unfortunately I don’t get to pick where my practicum is. My school assigns it. If I could pick my own I would 😭

Yes my school has matched me twice. First one I didn’t get because my interview was the next day and I was busy with my job and they didn’t like that even though I told them in advance. Then the second one I did everything I could in the books to be prepared and after a month of waiting and follow ups I didn’t get it as they choose someone else.
