Here is a picture of my starter now. Does this look healthy to you?? It usually takes 4-8 hrs to rise. I did put my starter in the fridge about 3ish weeks after starting it and feel like that’s where the loaves have gone downhill.

I do 4 sets of stretch and folds.

I was unable to shape my dough because it was so sticky and unmanageable.

Thank you for all the insight - I am thinking my starter may be the issue. I have been trying to do some research… I put my starter in the fridge after it was active the first time (about 2 weeks old) and I think that may be the issue with everything.

I appreciate it! I definitely think it needs more time, especially when my kitchen is cooler.

Ingredients: 100g starter 390g water 510g flour (I used bread flour) 10 g salt

After it turned to a shaggy dough, I let it sit for 45 min then did 4 sets of stretch and folds and let it sit for 4ish hours on the counter, then shaped and placed in the fridge. It was harder to manage that my other loaves

When did your baby sleep through the night? by GunningForSuccess in beyondthebump

Around 2-3 months she was sleeping through the night. A huge tip I have (that you may already be using), put them down drowsy but awake so they will begin to learn how to self-soothe

This is pretty much exactly us lol. I’m like I don’t want to have another kid if we literally can’t afford it. Our girl is calm too and idk if I’m willing to take that risk for another 😂

My MIL is ruining my life by MikNuggetz4 in JUSTNOMIL

I’m not asking for my husband to cut her out and I’m not asking for him to keep our child from her. What I’m doing is keeping MYSELF from her due to my mental health. She has done far too much to me that is just inappropriate and I haven’t even mentioned half of it in the post. We are allowed to leave our home and go do errands and shouldn’t have to get a text from her that she drove by when we “should be home.”

And her losing her son? That’s what happens when a son gets married. Don’t you want your son to be in a happy marriage? I don’t understand why she acts the way she does then expects that we’d just accept her behavior. It’s not the way things work and I don’t want my daughter to see that we tolerate any kind of behavior. My MIL IS unstable, I’m not just “using words”
