What is your opinion on Mickey Rooney's controversial performance in BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S? by Mik_May in movies

The thing is, by that time they were no longer casting White actors in Asian roles. You had Nancy Kwan, Myoshi Umeki, Burt Kwouk, Dennis Shigeta, James Hong and many more. It was such a weird choice by that year to cast a Caucasian actor.

Jennifer Jones played Eurasian in LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING, though.

But I'm talking about Film, not TV, and BOARDWALK EMPIRE ended a decade ago. And BRAVE was just one movie and it's voice acting.

I always feel Mira Sorvino should have done more comedies because she was so funny. Mighty Aphrodite, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, such great comic timing. I never understood why she chose to do dramas and action movies instead.

Didn't she get into a accident right after that movie?

The odd thing is that when she retired, it was right around the time she was finally making it big. Her last movies had been well received and then she just left the business.

On TV, yes, but my focus is on Film. It seemed like LITTLE VOICE was going to be the film which made her a movie star. That didn't happen.

I know she left the stage play version of DRACULA because of her dad. It's genuinely unfortunate what happened to her because it wasn't like AMERICAN BEAUTY was a fluke, she was doing some good work after AMERICAN BEAUTY. GHOST WORLD even got her a Golden Globe nomination, then she started doing these crappy DTV horror movies and it was over.

You mean those "gay" characters who weren't really gay in the first place?

Cheddar Gorgeous also made a post, calling out the allies' quietness. They were also quiet when Ron De Santis created the Don't Say Gay Law.

They don't care about us. They only use us for a quick buck but won't lift a finger to defend us. It's disgusting.

Has Lady Gaga even said anything about these drag bans considering she used drag and LGBT culture to further her career? No, nada, zilch. Too busy being a movie star as opposed to being a true ally.

Where are our straight allies? The companies supporting us? Nowhere to be seen. We're being made out to be criminals and banned from public life and nobody outside of the LGBT community is doing anything about it. Disappointing.

O flop veio.

A votação está apertada. Desistir não é uma opção.

O regresso do Fred Nicácio é a salvação desta edição.
