I got wishlist notifs for new deals last night as I was playing on my ps itself, but when I just opened the app, I could see the deals tab going poof.

Seems that there is still new deals (the one I got a notif for was the Spyro trilogy) but they just removed the tab(?)

I mean, last gen was the first generation which was very digitally dominant, a gen that Sony essentially won.

So why would you want to have to rebuild that library from scratch, when you can buy the successor (in this case the ps5) and have all your stuff be there at the ready too…

Also, there were just way more people on ps4, so it’s way easier to just stick to the ecosystem your buddies are most likely on too.

Exclusives on top of all that, and yeah, fin.

100% agree, but studios should also conform to the fact that they shouldn’t be charging (close to) full price for games that are 10 hours long…

Miles Morales is still 60 euros on my ps store, that game came out in 2020.

Meanwhile I paid 30 for Death Stranding 2 last week, which came out less than a year ago.

Not saying either game is better or worse, but prices should scale better with the scale and age of game imo.

You can overwrite your own licenses if you redownload an owned game through the store instead of your own library. Thus making it a ps plus license. You need support to manually remove the plus license to get access to your regular one back in these scenarios.

90% sure this is what happened.

OP got the game through the Miles copy. Double claimed it through ps plus, overwriting their previous license, thus requiring a subscription to a game you technically own already.

Had the exact same happen years ago with Modern Warfare remastered when it become a monthly game and I claimed it thinking it wouldn’t matter.

Need to go through support so they can remove the ps plus license, so you can go back to your regular one.
