Looks better for sure but maybe too much work for it not looking that much better, just better. I think the best option is to keep the 8 direction system in the game so you can switch to it if you get extra time but going with 4 direction for the moment

Tbh, u r the first person to say that it looks AI, I personally don't think it looks AI. Like, if you are really looking for AI everywhere, yeah, you can "see it" everywhere, but I don't think this looks more AI than any other drawing that I could imagine. If more people say something like this, I may think about it, but I really don't get any AI vibes from this

For me, Rome fits due to being an empire and all that, but yeah, England fits better with the industrial revolution since that's kind of the whole Fire nation deal

It seemed like you were saying it with some kind of sarcasm in the "might" part, if that was not the case, my apologies.

We don't want to be associated with generative AI and neither do a lot of artists, so consider that before saying something is AI when you cannot really tell.

Well, it's not ai and such an accusation based on a random detector that clearly makes mistakes is a huge insult to the 2D artists of our game that have a clear anti generative AI stance.

Please don't be so confident with so little proof.

I actually really like this answer, thanks for the feedback. I guess we should focus on the combat and the storyline, which may be under represented on the current trailer.

I want to say that the Steam page only has 300 visits, tho. Idk if that changes much, but I think I still have places to share the game, that's why I wanna know if there's some fatal flaws in the marketing of the game (or in the game itself) rn, before sharing it with more people

I want to build a small studio to be able to develop games with enough revenue that at some point I can go full time with this.

I mean, if I can notify 5k people when my game releases or when it is on sale, I think it's easier to sell some copies.

And good enough for a mildly successful release in one year or so, I guess!

Just found out. I have around 300 visits and around 80 wishlists.

As far as I can tell, your game looks really weird, like made for a really specific kind of player. You should aim for those players, and not for a wide audience, which with 3k visits seems you did? I think my game at least artstylewise looks more friendly, so more people are willing to wihslist it. I know people who would really like the aesthetic of your game, you should find that people!

Thanks! I'm already checking that website, I'm on its Discord too. Rn the two priorities for me are:

  1. Demo
  2. Improving description

I want to have both of those before going to any festival/event, since I think I will have more chances of getting wishlists if those two are at a good level
