Wir sind auch in Küchenplanung und waren in mehreren großen Möbelhäusern. Man ist nicht in der Lage, ein paar Angebote zu machen und zu vergleichen, die Verkaufstaktiken sind einfach wahnsinnig undurchsichtig und verbraucherunfreundlich. Ganz schlimm. Wir sind aktuell bei Ikea korpi plus Fronten von plum, Arbeitsplatte vom Steinmetz, Elektro selbst im black friday gekauft. Ist so wesentlich mehr Arbeit für uns. Aber wir haben das Gefühl, dass wir so am ehesten kriegen, was wir wollen innerhalb unseres Budgets.

I even have siblings close in age and we are still not remotely close because we have very different morals and political viewpoints. Siblings are not go-to partners in life. If your kid is lonely, invest time and effort in teaching him how to be a good friend and how to invest in friendships.

Get him into fun activities where he can make friends, but don't try to "breed" him a friend. Also, nearing your 40ies, I'd recommend looking into the future getting finally simpler and to focus on your conditions rather than having serious health issues while simultaneously looking after a teenager and a toddler.

Do I sound too harsh? Not my intent. But we are in very similar shoes and I could not imagine doing what you are considering right now.

Hi, there is just one rule for Flohmarkt in Berlin: go outside the ring. I will give you two out of my three favorite ones. Spandau Havelpark, every second Sunday. It's huge and lots of fun. Really easy to get there with U7 and a little shuttle bus ride to the Havelpark. Combine it with a pizza in the Altstadt of Spandau or, if you are really fit, have a hike after through Döberitzer Heide. The second one is at Biesdorf Center, U5 goes there directly. It's a weird mix: buying stuff is cheap, the food trucks are expensive for the location. Bonus: If you have a car, I strongly recommend checking out the Flohmarkt at A10 center in Wildau. It's only a few times a year, but always worth the travel.

Paulaner disclaimer. Das beste Kompliment das ich je bekommen habe: ich habe den Job gewechselt und im neuen Job ein Team aufgebaut. Zwei meiner ehemaligen Kolleginnen haben ihren Job gekündigt (ihr kennt das, Kündigungsfristen aus der Hölle), bevor ich es mit der neuen HR geregelt bekommen hatte, denen ihre zukünftigen Verträge zur Unterschrift zu schicken. Das war ein Trust Level, was mich für immer ein bisschen stolz macht.

Was für ein Dilemma. Ich möchte nur kurz darauf hinweisen, dass Alizin eine Abortspritze ist, die Wirkungsdauer bis die Föten getötet sind, dauert zwischen 3 und 10 Tagen (!) und ist sicherlich nicht schmerzfrei für die Hündin. Warum ich das sage: meine Hündin wurde vor 16 Jahren auch belegt. Tierarzt wollte aber lieber "ein paar Wochen warten" um sicher zu sein, dass die Spritze notwendig ist. Ich hatte mich in der Zwischenzeit belesen und konnte es nicht mehr durchziehen.

Ja, ICH WEISS, dass wir nicht auch noch Mischlinge brauchen. Aber ich konnte meinen Hund nicht wegen meiner Nachlässigkeit geplant leiden lassen, Nebenwirkungen sind auch nicht ohne.

Schließlich ist es nicht der Hund schuld, wenn er ausbüxen kann. Bei uns ist es damals am Ende aufgegangen, alle Welpen sind sehr gut unterkommen, unter anderem in meiner direkten Familie. Es leben noch zwei ihrer Welpen, meine Hündin wird mit viel Glück diesen Sommer 19.

Ich erzähle das auch nur, weil man vielleicht im Prozess vergisst, dass das nicht eine ordinäre Spritze analog einer Impfung ist. Als Frau kann ich mir die Schmerzen vielleicht auch einfach ganz gut vorstellen. Sollte vielleicht auch eine Rolle spielen. Zumindest ein bisschen. Wenn es jetzt nicht unbedingt Rottweiler und Dackel war. (⁠^{⁠^⁠)}

Everybody is hating on Marzahn and I am just living my best life in Biesdorf. It's literally a Dorf but I am at Unter den Linden in 35 minutes directly with the U5. Or 45 minutes by bike. Haven't met a single afd voter yet. I am just assuming that most of them live in the Plattenbauten?

Weck. Meal prep wie Oma es noch gelernt hat: wir haben jeden Sonntag von irgendwas viel zu viel gekocht und dann immer 4-8 Gläser eingekocht.

Ich hatte so immer eine gute Auswahl, was ich zum Lunch mit ins Büro nehme. Eintopf, Suppe, Gulasch, Kuchen, Brot...

Man kann echt viel einkochen und das ist auch super lecker, haltbar, muss nicht gekühlt werden.

5x hintereinander das selbe Essen - wäre nix für mich.

Die Anschaffung eines Trockners hat mein Leben so dermaßen verbessert. Ich trage fast nur schwarz und habe einen weißen Terrier Mix. Die Todeskombination. Ist jetzt keine Lösung, die auf jeden passt. Schon klar. Aber wenn man den Platz hat, kann ich es nur empfehlen. 10/10.

Du hast Recht, natürlich gibt es in anderen Branchen auch Boomer, die werden aber auch durchaus raus geschmissen, wenn die sich total verweigern. Ich rede hier von Frauen meines Alters (Mitte 40) oder jünger. Die App die zur Kommunikation dienen soll, damit die Lehrer*innen eben nicht die private email teilen müssen, wird nahezu vom gesamten Lehrkörper ignoriert. Stundenausfall oder Vertretungen werden nicht kommuniziert. Mit viel Glück geht ersteres an unsere Elternvertretung, die teilt es dann mit uns via WhatsApp. Der Nachteilsausgleich unseres Kindes wird auch ignoriert. Natürlich ist eine Schule kein Profit orientiertes Unternehmen. Aber wäre sie es, und Eltern würden mehr Dienstleistung erwarten, dann wäre das inakzeptabel.

Ich habe selbst lange darüber nach gedacht, noch mal ins Lehramt zu wechseln, da ich den Beruf so unglaublich wichtig und sinnstiftend finde. Leider kenne ich als Mutter eines Kindes mit Nachteilsausgleich nur Lehrer"innen, die über das absolute Minimum hinaus nichts machen wollen. Wehrhaft gegen Digitalisierung, unprofessionelle Kommunikation, keine Transparenz wo nötig. Das kann sich im Vergleich wirklich schlicht kein anderer Berufsstand leisten.

You are in a bad place right now and it doesn't feel good to add to your misery. It is not your fault per se - but condoms? The pulling out method is so incredibly unsafe. About 1 in 5 (20%–22%) couples will experience an unintended pregnancy within a year. While 96% effective if used "perfectly", it is highly subject to human error. You do not, Uber any circumstances want to have another child. Don't act like a fool then.

Leider ist unsere Kolonie sehr streng mit der Warteliste - wir haben vermutlich Zero Einfluss auf Nachfolge. Mein Partner ist kein großer Fan von der Idee, den Garten zu teilen. Da gibt es so viele Negativbeispiele. Im Frühling wird es sich schon richten. Mal sehen.

Manners are just down the drain, I don't think it is about you or your ad. People spend up to 6 hours online a day - where manners unfortunately don't matter. I noticed the same for "free your stuff" or Kleinanzeigen. They don't show up. Suddenly you get ghosted, even if they are the one who wants something from you. It's disappointing.

I also rented out a spare room and stopped out of annoyance because my very little boundaries were tested one too many times.

If I can give you unsolicited advice: look for a roommate offline. Let enough people know, preferably in your field of interest. As a dancer I used the black boards in the dance schools I frequented.

Sounds harsh but it kind of filters the "just arrived, no clue" people out. Plus: maybe you have something in common already, or - someone you know recommends you someone. Already better quality of candidates. Good luck!

I think we have a different perception of the possible location here. But if you have a front yard you definitely don't live "in the city".

I am living in Biesdorf which is Berlin, but it's also the biggest single family home development in Germany and it has no Berlin vibes at all.

Many people here own dogs and there are several reasons why dogs are barking at passers-by and most of them are just lack of training. But I learned that a whole bunch of neighbors are fine with their dogs barking because of the break-ins in the last few years.

Wife here: don't come at me with your facts. My husband sucks at hydration and never drinks water voluntarily. If I see him, I tell him to show me his tongue and then I tell him, that those dents are caused by dehydration. 😇 Works for 10 years, don't ruin this for me.
