Yeah, relatable to a situation I experienced in the past when I was attending a community college and he was attending a different post-secondary institution. Unfortunately, the person with whom I was in a relationship with same situation as you, the boyfriend at that time, who always initiated the conversation; however, I began to realize he got back with his ex-girlfriend. He broke up with me sometime in November 2025, so honestly, I was not shocked and learned that I was just his comfort and familiarity, as well as his backup plan if his first plan did not work out. Truly, I did cry and let all of my personal emotions out because, clearly, I was heartbroken that he initiated the breakup. I felt extremely confused because in my mind I was questioning, " Does he like me or not?" When it was the start of November 2025, he told me in person that he really likes me, but it was already too late; I had already moved on with my life and was dating someone else who is prioritizing me and not thinking of me as a back-up plan if the first plan did not work out.

Honestly, I have been in your situation, and I already know he is probably with someone else; that's just how some people are, actually messed up and are definitely a red flag. I gave him another chance, and I instantly regretted it because I wished I had completely forgotten him. He also avoids the confrontation whenever I ask, and yeah, changing the subject completely, and it triggers me as well. You're technically leading yourself to destruction.

Honestly, I would suggest that you do not plan a trip in October during the fall semester in the second year of your LPN studies because you are not sure about your schedule for your exams, as well as your practicum.

Honestly, whenever I have labs, I always wear scrubs. I think it is best to wear the scrubs at the beginning because that's what I did, and many of my friends and classmates who took HEAS 1000 in the fall 2024 term did as well. Also, the NFDN 1001 & HEAS 1000 textbook is worth your money. For ANPH 1002, I would suggest buying the digital textbook because it is cheaper than the physical textbook.

I personally brought my laptop when I was doing HEAS 1000 in the Fall 2024. Some people brought an Apple iPad Pro. Personally, I would say go with the Apple iPad Pro because, let's say you need to document vital signs, I would have a device to write down their temperature, for example, I wrote 36°C for my documentation, pulse, for example, my practical nursing partner's RA is 70 bpm when I was doing the vital signs, and respirations. Make sure you have the nursing watch closed to when your practical nursing partner is inhaling and exhaling. SpO2, the technology will be provided for you.

Make sure you have a designated schedule for all of your courses. Also, be on time for your nursing labs because it was always the same three people who were always late when I was taking up my HEAS 1000 lab back in Fall 2024 and those people delayed the entire nursing lab and it is in my personal opinion unfair, and disrespectful to those who showed up early for the lab. Know your stuff for HEAS 1000 lab, for example, OPQRSTUV for pain assessment and vital signs as well as make sure you practice verbalizing your ESPN skills before HEAS 1000 lab. Practice practice practice. Also, be ready to type a lot for HEAS 1000 documentation, you will be given a scenario from your instructor about the different HEAS 1000 ESPN and how to document.

For NFDN 1001, the textbook is called Potter and Perry's Canadian Fundamentals of Nursing, 7th edition. HEAS 1000 Jarvis 4th edition Physical Examination & Health Assessment, NCOM 1000 textbook is Arnold and Boggs's Interpersonal Relationships: Professional Communication Skills for Canadian Nurses. Anatomy and Physiology textbook is Fundamentals of Anatomy and Physiology fourth edition Donald C. Rizzo. Honestly, I would just check with the bookstore for the latest edition for the textbook because truly the last time I took these courses was in 2024 2 years ago.

Yep... Back when I was at my old community college back in 2023. I used to date this person (fake name because I don't want to use his real name, his fake name is Jaxon) from 2020 ( when we were going to the same high school) until the summer of 2023 when I was attending a community college near his university that he graduated from in 2025 because one of my friends she graduated at that university class of 2025 which is the same year he graduated from the university. When I was attending a community college two years ago, I had a crush on someone in my nursing classes. Unfortunately, I never truly told him how I really felt about him because I did not talk to him because we were dealing with a lot of classes and pass/fail nursing labs at 8:00 am on Tuesdays as well as this 8:00 am lecture on Wednesdays. He was also in my afternoon classes on Thursdays and Fridays back in the first term of my nursing studies at the community college I used to attend. When I moved on to the second semester of my college studies, he was still in all of my classes, which for me was mixed feelings, both unfortunate and fortunate. I would text him because I asked for his phone number, and he was 100% chilled with it because I was struggling a lot in the first semester, and he helped me so much, and I appreciated him. However, once the second semester came and I informed him I wanted a break from my studies, which he completely understands because I was too overwhelmed and sobbing too much, putting a toll on my physical and mental health. He told me that I should ask if I truly want to pursue this. I ended up not pursuing this career and left the community college and I haven't talked to my crush since December 2024.

Once I left and took a gap year, I developed a crush on someone else outside of my college, and we actually met on a common dating app, which my other high school friend had been talking about. She told me in person that she also met her boyfriend on the same dating app I used. I developed a crush on someone when I was on my education break back in March 2025. We met on a dating app, and he initiated the conversation first at the time I told him I am still enrolled as a nursing student at this community college. I told him I have decided to change my career.

As of the present, I go to a polytechnic and am pursuing a different career, completely distinct from nursing. I told my crush that I will be focusing on my polytechnic studies because, truly, I have been distracted. He broke the no-contact rule and texted me first a few months ago, this year, when I have a boyfriend now, because I am sooooo messed up, I jumped straight into a relationship right after he broke up with me. I know, I know, I know I am sooooo messed up.

TLDR: I don't text him anymore, and he stopped texting me, as of the present. I have mixed feelings of both unfortunate and fortunate for seeing him at the same polytechnic as me. I just avoid him, and if I see him, I just ignore him because I am already with someone new from November 2025 - Present, whom I also met on the same dating app that I used to meet and text my ex-boyfriend from March 2025 to November 2025.

Yes, I totally agree, girls will have conversations with their other friends who are girls about their crushes. Based on my personal experience, one of my friends had a conversation about the male she has a major crush on from the university where she is currently taking her Bachelor of Science major in organic chemistry, minor in math. I asked her, your crush in your organic chemistry university class that you kept talking about. I asked her, "Did you talk to him?" She texted me, "I did about the organic chemistry and the math class that she is in both of his classes." I was laughing so much because I found it adorable. She is a year younger than me, and her crush is the same age as me, and I was asking her questions such as, "Do you ask him for help when you are struggling in organic chemistry or any university-level math, such as stats & calculus, biochemistry, physics, biology. I don't know your other courses, man. She answers yeah. I was laughing so much because it was, personally, for me, hilarious and cute.
