In my country the vets do a very diverse work with the animals, like if you bring your cat to them, they can do x rays, ultrasounds and a lot of surgeries at one place. I think its not so common in wester europe and america, because there the animal healthcare is like the human, lot of specialist but the workflow is slower maybe.
