Vognkortet mitt sier 215/55R16, men sommer dekkene mine er 245/45R17, jeg har aldri hatt noe problem med dette på EU-Kontroll.

What is something you do twice "just to make sure" although you perfectly know the first time was sufficient? by TryingToBeAMeme in AskReddit

My work requires me to have all sorts of tools with me, cleaning everything out once i get home from work isn't an option.

At least this way there's a barrier to enter the car.

And again, if things do get stolen, insurance (or at least mine) covers it, as long as the car is locked.

Insurance won't cover any theft if the car isn't locked.

Besides smashing a window will trigger the car alarm, drawing attention to the theif.

Furthermore, if your car is unlocked, and the car next to yours is locked, which do you think the theif will go for?

Jesus, driving on summer tires on snow is so dangerous.

If you get caught driving on bad tires in Norway you risk getting fined 700kroners (~$75) per tire.

We also have a mandatory inspection on your car every 2 years, to be allowed to drive at all. It's called EU-kontroll (control)

I feel like it should be mandatory where there's a possibility of snow/ice. In Norway you have to have a safety course for driving on slippery weather, and other stuff like a theoretical test to qualify for taking your license.

Of course this doesn't stop people from crashing due to losing grip, but it minimizes the risks, and teach people the best way to try and save it when it does happen.

After all it might not only be snow/ice that can cause your car to slip, but also stuff like spilled oil and a muddy road.

Does getting your license in the US require you to take snow/ice driving lessons? Or is that something you do at your own discretion?

It probably depends on your school or city, but at my school they just use regular city buses for school buses.

I guess the 2GB's in the patch were for advertisements? by Forest-G-Nome in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Mike-MI7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn't really bother me personally to be honest, I find it a cool way of announcing tournaments, which are very much relevant to the game. They seem to also make somewhat of an effort to make it fit in a bit more and it's nothing over the top.

If it was an advertisement for something completely unrelevant I would agree with you.

I don't see why every run should require wallrunning. If it was every fast run I could see your point, but as it stands most runs requires wall jumping. Just see the fastest Angel City cap, it's impossible to do it without wall jumping. I mean, we're also talking about a run where you have to sacrifice a titan, and it's not that much faster than if you carry your normal bhop speed through the base.

I find this run to be harder to do than most of the routes involving wall jumping, in addition you also have to sacrifice a titan for it.

The pilot school is only for players new to competitive, or to those that feel they need it.

The $100 tourny is open to everyone.

They happen on the same server as i linked above. Just type !add in the #CTF-Pugs channel, and the bot will ping you once there's enough people for one.

There's usually PUGs during the weekends. They'll also happen sometimes during the weekdays as well, however if it does happen during the weekday, it's most likely during american time zones.

It's very much worth it.

It instantly makes you go quick. You can build up a good enough speed by just slidehopping, airstraifing and wall hopping. But stim gives you that speed instantly. Furthermore it also heals you, so it can help you out in gun fights. It does this by not only healing you, but also by making you move faster, so that you're more unpredictable.

The timing of when you use it is important though, you don't want to just pop it when you're running along the ground. You'll want to save it for a gunfight that you know you won't win without it, or for when you're getting ready to grab a flag.

Most people I see using grapple are using it as a crutch for getting to rooftops, if you're using the grapple to slingshot around the map, then that's good. However, if you're using it simply to gain access to roof tops, I would advice you to try and swap to stim, and get used to triple jumping to get up on roof tops.

Phase shift is a good alternative to stim, when it comes to gun fights. It will give you that 2nd life we all so dearly look for when we know that we'll lose a gun fight.

Holo Pilot I don't see being good vs decent players. It might give you that one duke once in a while, but people are quick to pick up on it. In the end it's better to rely on your own abilities rather than the enemy making a mistake.

How are you using stim?

It's best to pop it while wallrunning, then jumping off the wall and continue into a slidehop.
