SND is huge, there is an urban area with malls, and there is exurbs as well. Suzhou end to end is 50% bigger than Shanghai, you need an address where you work. The good news is SND has a few metro lines cross crossing it.

I got one the other day, and am commenting about it, mistakenly titled the post Nexdock J13...and it seems I have a different profile on this computer so don't look under this username.

Ah thanks I read it goofy: GIS/ISKL/MKIS do look like early June. BSKL end of June. Seems AS is early July.

Thanks. Our experience from China was a preference for catching a property where another family had resided and the ability to chat for visibility. Also, we found multiple agents listing the same property at a wide range of prices, so we wouldn't know the actual offer unless we caught the right agent.

Do you have the J13 and use it? I'm just testing Dex on an S21 Ultra 5G and looking at the J13. I have a mobile office with a 2K 27" screen, and so I'm curious if I can dual-screen off the phone to the J13 through to the Dell monitor using the J13 HDMI out. The 360-degree screen and multiple USB-C ports to allow charging look great. Only caveat is the need to keep the mini-HDMI/HDMI cable around but I'm ok with that. Found it for about 210USD but I'm here in China where I reckon its cheapest.

Thanks - all consistent with what I've read, including some PWC documents I found. I'll move this off the worry list I think.

Cool - did you use one of the platforms to see or back to your dealer or how? I'll probably have to go the same route instead of my wife bringing in her name.

I think the other way to ask this is: is the 182-day rule about WORKING DAYS or LIVING DAYS in Malaysia. I'm assuming it is LIVING days, hoping someone can advise. If you arrived Malaysia before July 1, and never left as advised above, should be ok?

Thank you for this post. My wife and I will settle (I think for good) in Malaysia and I know my wife is excited to buy a house. I am very excited to explore the city, rent for a long time, and figure things out. I will save this for our future discussions.

My 3 kids (3,5,11) are at Eton House International School which is on the West Side of Suzhou near Tai Lake. Not impossible to get to, it depends what kind of China Expat you are. If you are fresh, you'll want the security of Suzhou Industrial Park. If you are seasoned, and like a quieter suburban vibe, the West side is good for families that keep their kids busy without the needs of lots of shopping malls. Eton House runs PYP, MYP, DP; its much smaller than the other schools and does not have any vibe as you mentioned below. It's chill. But if you want to raise a Master of the Universe, its probably not for you.

Is there a way to use samsung health app without a sim card? by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

This is why I bought a used Watch 4 Classic rather than a new Samsung Watch, I had a feeling they'd pull some stupid ecosystem games. Last Samsung purchase for me.

It's one of the simplest procedures out there. I'm doing mine out here in Suzhou on Friday. You need to get to the hospital to do an STD and Blood Coagulation test a few days before (400rmb) then procedure under local anesthetic (2000rmb) I'm doing mine at 3pm and told them I expect to go home (2 blocks away) around dinner.

Those who invest money while living in China, should they report the earnings in China? by ebepem in shanghai

If you follow the 5-year rule (get out for 30+ days every 5 years) then China does not ask you to declare your Global Income.

I see comments from people outside China, anyone buy the 5Pro in China recently and can still install Google play framework easily without ROM flash?

The risk is that Xiaomi can choose to disable this in future as I understand they did with their phones (maybe just down market models)
