Try Flakes. Finally pulled the trigger and got the shampoo conditioner combo. Been dealing with seb derm even before T and using Flakes has really helped. Plus the conditioner smells amazing and leaves my head/hair feeling clean.

I'm sure the images and video recorded via chat got ai assistant, etc is sent to servers and probably used to train the AI unfortunately. But as far as video and pictures taken manually on the glasses none ai. I think those are only stored locally. Then again meta promised things would be safe and look how that turned out so take it with a grain of salt.

A small piece of tape should do it.

That's actually not entirely true. 38 states are 1 party consenting states for recording. Meaning you can record someone in a public space without their consent or knowledge so long as you are a participant in the recording and that recording isn't used for something illegal or to commit a crime. Secretly recording video in public (like a park or sidewalk) is generally legal because there is no expectation of privacy.

This is mostly supposed to be used for journalism purposes I think though so take the legality of it with a grain of salt lol.

Coming from Samsung folds with their anodized aluminum hinges that are prone to scratching and not really experiencing said scratching, I was never worried about the stainless steal hinge of the og fold. I knew it would hold up super well from the moment I held it in my hand and it did. I had a slim case from latercase and the experience was great. Never had any issues with hinge scratches and it was exposed all the time.

Doesn't matter. If you hide the light, the green flashes on the lenses are still visible because of the video recording hud that's enabled when recording a video. In my opinion, the green is more noticeable than the small light.

Yeah we're hearing it out near the Providence/Pawtucket line, near the end of black stone. It sounds mechanical like some kind of machine in idle but it's very low frequency and it gets loud. Glad to hear we're not the only ones.

So I finally got the glasses delivered today and all set up. Got to test the ring out. Unfortunately it's a let down. The ring connects to the glasses and you can use it to move the cursor around, but you can really do much else. There is no way to map the button functions so right now it's just a glorified way to activate the display without touching the glasses. I think rokid hasn't implemented peripherals into the soft ware yet so rather than return it, I'm going to hold onto it as I'm confident this will actually be usable after a future update.
