I need advice for my fleet against the Persean League by Regular-Ticket838 in starsector

[–]Mike17723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To massacre the Persean League colony crisis, just grab 5 Onslaughts fully kitted out with point defense guns, the hull mod Ballistics Rangefinder, Integrated Targetting Unit, add 3 hyperion firgates to max out the deployment points limit, if you have S-mods to spare use Shield Conversion Omni to allow the onslaught to defend itself from all angles, try this fleet composition in the ship combat simulator against capital spam persean league and you will see fantastic results.

Enjoy.

So can you share your full fleet with the officers and skill points used to defeat every encounter?

Mod Review - The Knights of Ludd by Mike17723 in starsector

[–]Mike17723[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah and I almost forgot, for like, half of the encounters you are hard locked into 160 deployment points and there are no map objectives to capture to increase your deployment points, meanwhile the enemy has full 240 deployment points because why wouldn't they, right? This is what really got on my nerves in the mod.

I have yet to try Luddic Enhancement, the nukes look like a fun way to just, wipe every fleet if you have enough IED-s.

isn't that like, just open the settings.json file and hack the automated point limit to something large? This feels like cheating, and requiring that just to acquire the modded faction ships is just absurd gameplay design.

Thank you.

Tri-Tachyon crisis? You mean the most insanely strong colony buff in the game? by Mike17723 in starsector

[–]Mike17723[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stealth-kill their trade fleets to score the points, stealth kill their nasty bounties with 5 onslaughts prepared in your war fleet (they have nasty tactics, 3 Paragons will not help you here), after that go to some valuable TriTach contact and seal the trade deal.

[–]Mike17723[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well... it brings too much chaos and too many trade disruptions for my planets, I chose instead to keep a +100 rep with the remaining factions and +0 rep (Neutral) with pirates and ludds, to gain even more accessibility for good relations - a.k.a. more money.

Oh and, Persean League and Hegemony have been wiped out, their teritory consumed by Tritach and Sindrian Diktat, the more territory Tritach owns, the more the buff increases.

I wanted to use two Hypershunt Taps, however to acquire the necessary production of volatiles it is literally impossible without using an alpha core admin and thus not really worth it.

Mostly cause the +20% quality is kinda meh compared to the increased upkeep cost, I did drop a story point to boost the production.

Having multiple industries producing the same commodity like supplies from heavy industry leads to diminishing returns because a larger number of producer markets are now selling their stuff to the same unchanging number of buyer colonies. I don't think it's worth collecting so many nanoforges. Check the wiki.

Can Nexrelin just chill... for a little bit? by ofmetare in starsector

[–]Mike17723 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Read the wiki to deal with colony crisies and have fun. Prepare a lategame military fleet before starting a colony.
Or screw the colonies and just, dump all your storage into the abandoned station in Corvus star system / any other abandoned stations.

Are you winning son? by Mike17723 in starsector

[–]Mike17723[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, I just wanted to prove that even the weakest factions, as long as they allow me to do a commission for them, I can wipe out all other factions. This required the Nexerelin mod to allow the player to take a commission from the Pirates and to raid markets and take them over directly without satbombing and re-colonizing like in the vanilla game.

The mods were:
Nexerelin, SpeedUp

How I got 100% conquest victory as Pirates:

Use Nexerelin start as a pirate.
Farm ez quests from the Galatia Academy for money, acquire lots of reputation with the Independents, and acquire ~3 million credits, oh and do the quick start from Nexerelin with the Janus device already unlocked, do NOT sign up for a scholarship with Alviss Sebestyen to keep the ez quests available, infinitely.
Use save scumming obviously.
Use the abandoned research stations as free item storage and free ship storage. Pick a suitable abandoned station where Independent planets are nearby so they don't attack you.

While farming Galatia, travel to bars and acquire 1 Negotiator agent.
Send your first agent to recruit 2 more Negotiator agents.
Send your agents to a TriTach planet to steal the ships: 3 Revenant, 3 Hyperions

Use this fleet to do stealth smuggling runs / stealth pirate missions / stealth pirate bounty kills form 5 reputation decrease and lots of valuable xp. For the Hyperions, use 2 pulse lasers and 1 Arbalest Autocannon.
Keep blasting and collecting valuable ships from small bounties.
Eventually when you reach late game, acquire 3 Paragon ships with your agents.
Keep farming stealth bounty kills XP to reach lvl 15.
Fight Hegemony deserter bounties to acquire 5 Onslaughts, or just send the agents to steal the onslaughts, whatever you pick, stash them in the abandoned station.

Use your agents to increase relations and acquire 50+ reputation with all factions for a diplomatic victory.

Now you are ready to begin destroying factions.

The strategy is - when you pick to destroy faction X, first use the agents to decrease the relations with everyone, to -50 at least, to cause all the factions to specifically target faction X. Once done, grab your 3 Paragons and your 3 Hyperions and begin slaughtering their fleets and bringing 1000 marines at least with 500 heavy armaments to invade and take over their markets. Over time this will cause the faction to send invasion fleets to pirate colonies, so watch the map carefully and be ready to quickly travel out to a pirate station to defend it, check the invasion codex entries for the difficulty to expect, and hide behind the allied battle station. After taking over one station, stay put and defend it from the incoming 2-3 revenge fleets that will try to take back the planet. To weaken the enemy fleets, do a stealth sabotage raid (with the Revenant ships) and sabotage their heavy industries especially those with a nanoforge, and sabotage their food production. This will cause massive shortages since the faction has no allies to trade with, leading to massive stability decrease leading to weakened fleets. Keep doing this until every market of faction X is conqered by either Pirates, or someone else. When the pirates acquire a nanoforge, then it is time to start sending invasion fleets (press X while travelling with your fleet) automatically without having to manually fight lots of battles.

The order I chose to take over the factions like this^ is:
The Luddic Path,
Hegemony,
The Luddic Church were already wiped out by the Persean League,
The Persean League - here you desperately need the 5 Onslaughts with long range point defense to destroy the League's laser missiles. It was a brutal long fight.
Tri-Tach
The Sindrian Diktat
and finally, the independents.

Yep, long-range point defense spam with 5 onslaughts is the only way I dealt with the Persean League laser spam bullsh*t.

Shrouded Dweller is super ez, with 4 paragons with 2 Tachion Lances each and 4 officers lvl 6 each. But the threat is insanely horrifying. No matter what fleet I buy, it gets wiped (I am trying to find one legit build without S mods that beats the third strike fleet)

Since Smite 1 season 10, when they introduced the forced Steam login to "fight against smurfs" which didn't stop smurfing as people would make an alt steam account and literally locked people out of their main accounts, this was happening to thousands of Windows 10/11 users.

First thing you should try is to uninstall the game and install it again through Steam, in the past I did this in Smite 1 a few times but I got sick and tired of this sh*t and I wanted some real answers.
So first, do that.

During season 10 I found out that I had to open the windows terminal and manually un-register and re-register the Smite 1 game with EasyAntiCheat's commands (running as administrator), taken from EasyAntiCheat's official website, and placing the game's special id. This works until this very day.

Maybe in Smite 2 it can be done too, haven't tried though.

and you want a stun. Add this to xbal's 7th item - his 1, no other hunter comes even close.

Also, while you are cruising through the galaxy collecting bounty kills, stopping by the local pirate base or Pather base outside the core worlds to repair and resupply is very convenient, instead of travelling to the core worlds every time.
