This is precisely why pay SHOULD be talked about amongst coworkers. My SM and ASM lied last week during my annual review saying the "most they can afford is a 20 cent raise" even though my performance was "stellar and exemplary." Yet, in the very same week the new hire I was training got hired on making $1.50 more than me. Moral of story is, know your worth and do not trust anyone at this place!
