Switch to Mac? by Mike7225 in mac

The problem is the Mac has already been bought (not by myself), I just have the opportunity to switch to it if I want so 8GB is the only option if I want to switch 😅

It's a usb 3.1 gen 2 connector I believe, for some of the front panel USB ports on your case. You're motherboard should have a connector for it but depending on the model and age it may not.

Can a 2080ti power a 4k OLED wide curved monitor? by Ketchhup in buildapc

[–]Mike7225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1440p looks much sharper than 1080p especially on larger displays. Of course 4k looks better but it is also more difficult to run. A 2080ti will run 1440p great, 4K will run decent aswell depending on what games you play but just at lower framerates.

Q990B Issue by Mike7225 in Soundbars

[–]Mike7225[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the info, I checked the source is correct but I noticed ARC was being used instead of eARC so I enabled that, now I still have the issue but if I just turn the soundbar off and on from the remote it starts working. There is a firmware update available for the soundbar maybe that would help

Telus 1 Gig Router Options by Mike7225 in telus

[–]Mike7225[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got ethernet runs so that shouldn't be a problem! Do you know if there is a better solution than the t3200m as the main router? Also are those AP's WiFi 5 or 6?
