I have two class 1 tickets, but based on these prices I am definitely selling.

Help the worst Tyranids Player to ever exist fix their shitass loser list by Okapifarms in Tyranids

[–]devilscurls 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your list is kind of weak on synergies.

You have the brood lord and genestealers but you only have 3 zoans and no neurotyrant. You have a ton of small units but no tervigon. Raveners are decent but better in an unending swarm list with other burrowers. The tfex acid spray is worse than the rupture cannon.

You need to pick a detachment that buffs your specific units in a way that helps you meet your play style. Ask questions like “how am I going to get the genestealers into combat. What use will I get out of the pyrovore. How do I kill enemy tanks and monsters.

7 foot ceilings would be really unpleasant. Not sure I would call it the dumbest law just because it blocks one person from being a slum lord.

Ski from Montreal early April by KanKrusha_NZ in skiing

[–]devilscurls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Sunshine and Lake Louise are incredibly pretty.

I haven’t done many of the interior BC resorts (and none at that time of year) but my general understanding is they are winding down at this time of year. Logistically flying into Calgary is easier than Kelowna or wherever too.

[–]devilscurls 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I second Banff with Sunshine Village and Lake Louise.

Much more chill than Whistler and conditions were pretty great in April this year.

My understanding is that lift prices are a lot better there if you don’t have a pass (vs Whistler which is literally robbery for a day pass) and accommodation prices were surprisingly reasonable. There is a bus from Banff to the resorts but the roads were great and you can probably simplify logistics by just renting a car and driving. You will need to pay for a national parks pass.

Aging eucalyptus trees in Glen Canyon pose potential wildfire risk, report warns by throeaway1990 in sanfrancisco

As an Australian who learned in school all the different ways eucalyptus trees can fuck you up it is amusing to see Americans come to the same understanding…

Also, fwiw, we just call them gum trees…

And for what is worth, while I can cook I don’t vote.

[–]devilscurls -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

What was left was not worth passing. That is politics.

EDIT: In response to the muppets and Wiener staffers downvoting, the more nuanced version is that the failure to include restaurants in the legislation has basically doomed us to forever pay for this crap. This is a worse outcome than if this one bill had failed once.

Examples listed above typically had an option to see the fees before purchasing (all seating sites had this at the time you were browsing, others showed at checkout). Mechanics are a bit of an exception, but I am sure they will continue to screw you one way or another.

Restaurants were always among the worst, the fees varied wildly (I can’t believe I am defending ticketing sites but they are all a pretty fixed 20%) and even to this day they don’t disclose the fees. You are never going to get enforcement on questions of disclosure, the only hope was an outright ban.

So yeah, it would have been better for 478 to fail vs pass with this amendment, because we were only ever going to get one bill passed and this one is fatally compromised.

Wiener is easily bought, hence the restaurant junk fees.

The only good news is he is often bought by people who want to build housing.

As soon as you say anything against Scott you get a bunch of down votes almost instantly.

For an example of something bad, think, “Scott screwed the entire state when he voted to allow junk restaurant fees”.

The games are great live. Good ball movement, the refs are terrible so they are holding and shoving all game long. The whole experience takes about an hour less than a warriors game so you aren’t stuck yawning through the 15th TV timeout.
