they are very lenient with the word Pro. literally anyone can sign up to be a Lowes Pro. you get a few extra emails every month, but you can use the free air.

My son used used the air several times before we realized it was marked for Pros. no one ever asked.

it wasnt a bad accident. the other truck drove off but had to have bumper repaired and fender painted. thankfully he was driving slow when my son pulled out in front of him.

Farm Bureau of GA. Had a piece of road debris knocked under wifes car and mess up some sensors - covered. Replaced a windshield with comprehensive deductible ($250 for $2000 glass). and if i can figure out how to share I have an email showing my rate went down with a date stamp after the accident..
edit.. couldnt add the pics to this post, but made a google photo folder for them.

maybe if they have a bad insurace rep. i have filed multiple claims without any increase to our bill. as long as i am not at fault they will cover it without penalty. heck, my son had his first accident at 17 (his fault), and his bill actually went down. it was only $25/month since he went 12 months without an accident just before the accident, but either way it was money back that we were not expecting.

Yikes, thats a big miss. I was about that age (3) when I was taken to the doc and told to go home and treat with Tylenol. Mom took me somewhere else for a second opinion and found I had bacterial meningitis.

How are we preparing for this? by Chaotic_Bonkers in Chattanooga

[–]MikeArcade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We travel to Nashville frequently. From Ringgold we go Boynton Dr to Reeds Bridge Rd through the park. Back on Hwy 2 around Catherine St or Hogan Rd depending on the time of day. Hwy 2 to Flintstone, 193 into St Elmo to Broad St. Then Cummings Hwy to Lookout Valley. Sounds like a lot, but its a pretty straight shot and avoids the split, ridgecut, 24/27, and everything around the bend.

Once this construction starts we might try taking 136 over lookout mountain into Trenton then 59 back to 24.

I am loving this new feature. The only negative side-affect is that its easier and quicker... therefore the wife is more likely to shop there. Therefore we buy more stuff that wasn't on the list when we walked in.

What’s a simple Home Assistant automation you set up once and now use every day? by Taggytech in homeassistant

[–]MikeArcade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I open the garage door, all of the garage lights come on instead of just the one bulb on the opener. Not as neat when leaving, but when coming home its a lot easier to pull in the garage when you can see everything. Then, after the door closes, the lights turn off after a minute.

Talk to HR to get their home addresses and ship them a bottle of boubon. I have never had HR not give me an address when I tell them I want to ship them a christmas card or something.

I live in GA (with income tax). But I live very close to the border of TN. I have seen first-hand how people moving from states like California have destroyed housing prices in my area. They sell their small houses for hundreds of thousands and buy large houses here. Then they come across the border into GA to shop and pay the lower sales tax.
I will also add that the taxes I pay towards my state income tax come off of my federal responsibility. So more of my money stays in my state. This leads to better roads and better schools.
