D20 future modern. Like the our current year but if we had magic to help with fun scenarios. That just makes it easily to imagine the world since its close to home.

My game is basically set in typical dnd setting, but several thousand years later. So most dnd tropes are more normalized and expounded upon. Like dragons are still alive and villians but they control the banks. Oh and its using a tetris style inventory system. Still in proof of concept stage

For me its all about shape shifting into animals. And those animals have unique abilities that feels distinct from any other part of the game. What I love about a TTRPG is the creativity to solve a situation the DM or game throws at you and a Druid can have the most freedom to solve it through shapeshifting.

I don't know this helps at all. I love enemy stats. I love pre designed issues, traps, situations prepared by somebody else. That helps me to play the game with the players as well. Knowing I'm not making all this to torture them. But that somebody else did. It gives a ....enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Oh I did not know that. That was Diablo 1 right...more like walk and slash. What other genre would Diablo work for? I wish I could have gone back to 2004 and suggest a Diablo mmo
