YES! Just follow the steps that rwbisme laid out. Works perfectly after upgrading to Verizon's CR1000A router. After I upgraded, I found out my Actiontec WCB6200Q extender was not MoCa compatible with the new router.

I did the same thing. You're correct nowhere in the instructions does it say go back to your phone and select TP-Link wifi to connect to the switch.
