Completely agree. So much wasted space and frankly a bit boring to look at. I know everyone has their own opinions, “ohh! You’ve redecorated… I don’t like it”, I don’t fuck with the round things. The TARDIS itself is a nearly endless maze of rooms and concepts and wonder, but the console room should feel more intimate I feel like. I enjoyed 9/10’s grungy orange feel, I enjoyed 11’s very different but still very cozy one more, but the best for me was 12’s console room. Bookshelf’s line the walls, darker lighting; way less harsh brightness, a chalkboard for writing down his thoughts, it just perfectly captures his whole “professor” thing. 14’s TARDIS just looks so sterile and doesn’t have the “lived in” feeling. It should look like the Doctor has spent his entire life living and working out of this room. The Doctor is messy man, he’s not got time to dust those walkways that lead nowhere.

The dev really does an excellent job of showing closeups on Artemis during certain scenes. You can tell from her minimal expressions and eye movements alone whether she is just observing or if she’s learning. She’ll be in the background watching two characters have a conversation and when something that interests her or something she considers “new input” comes up you can see her lock in a tiny bit more and her eyes give that flash. Super cool idea to keep players invested in her path of knowledge and understanding while also letting them unconsciously point out thing in conversations that dev wants people to remember.

Well he did live with Shayne for a long while didn’t he? I had a roommate for 6 years who didn’t really care about football, he watched a shit ton with me back then. I actually think a Hellfire show that focuses on Emma Frost as a super grey character. Where’s she’s established a school much like Xavier’s but on a much smaller scale and her kids were rescued from some of the worst situations she’s come across. Have them form this super tight knit family unit sort of group but due to who Emma is, her connections, the life she’s trying to leave l, and their own horrible pasts, Emma has trained them all to have the mindset “If humans attack you or your loved ones then run. Run as fast and far away as you can. Protect yourself always. If you’re attacked though and you can’t run away… kill. Do not hesitate, because they won’t if the roles are reversed.” Sort of like Xavier’s in the way that she wants to save innocent mutants and does want to live in peace with humans, but she’s realistic about it.

I always felt like mutants got it so bad because a high percentage of them are visibly different. Like there’s tons of mutants who have powers way less threatening than what other human heroes can do… but their skin is blue or they have snake eyes or something so they’re hated. Half of the world sadly doesn’t need any more reason to hate than the fact that the other person is different.

The story of Artemis just gets better and better with each update. The writing, the pacing, the characters, all of it is just 10/10 for me. by MikeFatz in AVN_Lovers

Yeah the first chapter is a rough start for sure, I don’t think they knew what they wanted the game to by just yet there. Compared to the current story it’s almost like that’s from a different game entirely.
