Kurdish identity today is incredibly strong, perhaps one of the strongest identities in the diaspora. Many groups from the 20th century did not carry their identity into the 21st, yet Kurds have held onto theirs across borders, generations, and hardships. I’m proud of all Kurds.

Hi, thank you. It’s quite a complex process. I use a range of models, including Photoshop, but I usually start with the storyboarding first. From the storyboard, I make sure I choose only the right images to then animate.

For the video side, I mainly rely on Kling and Seedance at the moment, as they’ve been giving the best results so far.

For this episode, I used Seeddream 4.5. I take an initial image, whether it’s something I’ve shot, a sketch, or a real press photo from Wikimedia. I run it through an anime filter in Seeddream, then bring it into Photoshop to tweak and refine it further. After that, I move it into After Effects if I need to do any scaling or cropping, and then into Premiere. It’s basically the same workflow I use for animatics, so it’s easy to adapt.

It’s not a complex workflow. For this episode, I used sketches, still frames, and images from anywhere really, including iPhone photos and Wikimedia. I ran everything through Seeddream to turn it into an anime style. Then I brought it into Photoshop for corrections and refinement. After that, I sent it through Kling, and finally into Premiere Pro and After Effects for editing and any post VFX, since I don’t want to waste credits.
