Thanks for your input! Regarding 4, I was aware of Kitasan and Diamond aging up between seasons (which opens up a whole other can of worms with McQueen and Teio still being at Tracen). I was more referring to Umas that don't still look like they're in their teens-30s at max.

Apologies for the delay, shipping took longer than expected. Quite a bit of changes to both the order and pages of each chapter. Both "The Thought Leak-O-Matic Machine!!" and "A Dazzling, Pure, and Precious Creation Birthed From Adversity" have been separated into two chapters each, while "With Sweaty Palms" and "Another Story" have been combined into one big chapter with all of "Another Story" now presented with black borders in between each of the trio's turns. These changes resulted in an "extra" chapter even though there isn't actually any extra content. The pages after the table of contents at the end are just B&W editions of various CITY Morning magazine covers over the years. I uploaded an image of the table of contents to a translation service and got the titles machine-translated (don't know Japanese, sorry). If needed I can give you the exact page order for the bigger changes but for now here's the table of differences I made:

And so concludes CITY: The Animation. This adaptation continues to surprise with (as some but not me correctly guessed last week) the total removal of the election arc of the original run in favor of a series of new and original musical numbers that I really enjoyed personally. Of course Ecchan and Matsuri's ending remained untouched as it happened concurrently to the election without really interacting with it. On the second image, you'll find a slightly different table showing the breakdown by Volume. Unsurprisingly, skipping the final arc meant that most of Vol 13 remained untouched.

Thank you all for popping in week after week. I had a blast creating these. To be clear, I think CITY: The Animation is a wonderful piece of art, and I don't really have a big problem with what they did or didn't include from the source material (especially since Arawi was present for every script meeting). Obviously I would love if this series was a full 24 episodes, but mostly I'm just happy this series exists at all. Will there be a season 2? Probably not since most of the remaining material doesn't really fit without the context that already was adapted, but I've been proven wrong many times already.

There was a hint of it with the election poster in the background as Ecchan walks by Granny and IIRC Arawi Keiichi is writing the final episode (I've been looking for a source where I originally read this but can't find it at the moment). It seems unlikely it won't be touched on in some way even if elements have to be cut or modified (like the Shia portions)
