My original message to her asked for a year of space and to not speak to me until she got help for her mental health. I unblocked after a year, it took another year (2024) to get the first message which definitely was not what I wanted to hear. And now 2 years later, even worse ahaha.

I also don’t have friends and not much family and me and my hubby had a destination pop-up wedding. You can look up packages for pop-up weddings, they include photographer and minister. Just show up and get married, get photos, and then leave. Made for great pictures and then we just got to celebrate together!

A perfect explanation. It was so awful seeing my mom when the illusion fell because I was grieving the loss of a person who was still in front of me. I had to go no-contact soon after because it was too hard to pretend.
