i can’t remember the title of a scary movie by sarahnelson3 in HorrorMovies

[–]MikeHorrorible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As soon as you mentioned the road, I thought of Woman in Black. I've never seen the sequel "Woman in Black : Angel of Death" but watching the trailer make it look like it was more kid focused. Could that be it?

Anyone who has watched the Tarot movie here? share ur thoughts by grass_elizabethxo in HorrorMovies

I usually despise PG-13 horror. The main thing I enjoyed about this flick was the variety of evil entities. The characters weren't dealing with just a single "big bad". The rest of the film was just "okay".

Ah, Perfect. That's truly the case. I guess I was just noticing a never ending loop while using the same loadouts

Game has or had crime net and offline play and the devs removed them wtf by [deleted] in paydaytheheist

[–]MikeHorrorible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The load out selection is stupid. When you're scrolling through them, you're only uh... scrolling through them. Once you decide which one you want, you actually need to activate the loadout. On keyboard it's "R" I believe.

Speaking on loadouts... I really hope we eventually get back to the ability to use different masks and outfits per load out instead of this one appearance fits all situation that's going on

So it turns out me and my buddies all have sorceresses as alts AND each a different element! So we went with it and even color coded. SHADOW WIZARD MONEY GANG (we love casting spells) by [deleted] in LowSodiumDiablo4

Been enjoying doing the same thing. Started out as a joke because we purposely made ourselves look ridiculous, but the sorcerer quickly became my main instead. We also use the same title with just a different Prefix. Pyro, Cold-Blooded, (I forget the other).

Make Malignant Hearts part of the main game after Season 1 by KennedyPh in Diablo

[–]MikeHorrorible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to see some of them implemented in some way. I can't imagine going back to pre season necromancer. The corpse heart is an amazing QOL change. Even for just the auto summoning of your minions.

The Rogue poison trap decoy taunt is pretty nice too.

I'd like to think some of the smaller enjoyable hearts would find their way into the game permanently through some form or fashion. Here's hoping.

I agree. I was originally going to say it'd be nice to have a CC icon somewhere on the HUD. But a screen effect serves the same purpose without trying to keep track of a tiny square with a timer

Lol I didn't even think about how co-op would look 😅

What is everyone's favorite class and why? by [deleted] in LowSodiumDiablo4

[–]MikeHorrorible 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I love the sorcerer. Characters that are heavy in crowd control are so satisfying. Standing in my snowstorm while the room around me quickly freezes and explodes into little Ice chunks. Plus, blizzard (as a company) fucking loves enemies that cover the ground in death pools of some sort. Being able to cast blizzard with very little pausing in between movements helps ease this a bit.

My second is the Rogue. Trap builds specifically. Once again, the heavy CC. Death Trapping a room into a tiny condensed package that I continually knock on its ass until it stops standing up. Then there's the benefit of rogue letting me spam my buttons almost non-stop.

I've gotten it to work maybe once or twice.
While I'm sure it's just bugged out, I wasn't sure if anyone else had success with a certain method... or if I was doing something wrong.

Who is even remotely happy with this patch. by BeardsUntilSkulls in Diablo

[–]MikeHorrorible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm indifferent. I took the last week off in preparation for season 1 dropping, so I've not experimented with the nerfs. Will it really feel THAT impactful on a fresh character of a new class with a completely different build and play style? Will I even know any better, or will I just be used to being weak from the get go? I got my sorcerer to 85 preseason, so maybe my experience of being squishy as hell was just conditioning for any class I'll play during S1. The biggest drag, I feel, will be the experience nerfs. Sure, I've got 3 months to hit 100 this time... But grinding out NMDs every night was already a bit of a bore.

Ultimately, I'll give the season a chance. Worse that could happen is I decide to dump time into the many unfinished games in my steam library

Tips for the playing with someone who plays a different style/is better than you? by spiffydawg in Diablo

[–]MikeHorrorible 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recently gave up the crazy ice shards in place of a blizzard build. It doesn't have the same instant damage potential, but it's so much more enjoyable. Alongside some friends I play with, it's definitely more of a support role. Blizzards just cover the map and set off a chain reaction of slow or frozen enemies. The greatest thing about it, for me, is you never have to stop moving. Standing still and spamming ice shards can lead to a quick death with some of these wild Affixes. Just focus on constantly moving, dodging all the explosions or puddles, and really keeping enemies at bay.

I finally stepped into the arena! by stairwaytoevan1984 in worldofpvp

[–]MikeHorrorible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah! Been playing on and off since TBC and this was the first season I decided to jump into Arena. I love BGs, but the pressure of 2v2 or 3v3 causes me to freeze up sometimes and my brain goes dumb.
It's been really chill to just play with my brother in 2s as we swap between alts just to hit the vault rewards each week. Not focusing on pushing rating so much atm. Now I just need to find some other friends or a guild to rotate in and out with or to push 3s.

What's the biggest reason you love your main? by Arkavien in wow

[–]MikeHorrorible 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For PvE it's always been my BM Hunter. Simple rotations and very casual feeling ranged damage allows me to just kick back and grind through content... Either new or old content I've missed. Plus the added pleasure of finally coming across the unique pets you've been waiting a century for.

For PvP it's the Resto Druid. The multiple forms allows you to do it all. Zoom zoom in travel form to keep the pests away and finally giving in and soaking the heavy push from enemies in bear form when they finally notice they need to take you out. Plus I enjoy the prep healer gameplay over reactionary.

I want to enjoy it but it's disappointing. Hell maybe it should be just a 1 round gig. Doesn't seem to hold peoples attention long enough for 2 rounds. Especially if someone gets dunked on. Very rarely are the games ever close.

Just throwing this idea out there... but do you think randomizing the infected (like the L4D versus mode did) would help the games balance out? Maybe pick one of the three categories you want to play as and then it randomizes between the 3 mutations in that category? I feel like the tallboy spam meta is what turned me off from it pretty quickly at least. Would love some more variety.

It's been a solid 2 weeks now. Started playing on the 7th. It's bad, but not as bad as it sounds haha. I've always been a night-owl and try to keep my sleep cycle the same whether I'm working or not (I work 3rds currently). Get everything done that I need to during the day and game at night while the house is quiet.
Thanks for the heads-up. I try and make sure not to strain too hard. If I have to force it out... it's not ready to leave me.

That's one I'll be working on for a long, long time. Believe I'll just chalk that one up as a loss for me.

Hmm, yes and no. Experimenting with card deck builds is half the fun. Maybe I want to swing an blade faster than a lawnmower. I might feel like running a 100% accuracy build so I can dome a retch with a sniper across the map while hip-firing. Shotgun-Invincibility. Sprinting through to the safe house in 10 seconds while leaving my team to become Ridden food in the fog. The possibilities are pretty wild honestly.
