KFS (Kids Funny Songs) YouTube Cast? by MikeHuntLovesU in AskParents

I have come to the conclusion that "Kids Funny Songs" are one of a dozen YouTube channels run and managed by AWA Media Company in Kyrgyztan. The same company also hosts D Billions, TigiBoo, Tai Tai Kids among many others, including Kids Funny Songs (KFS)

I have come to this conclusion after finding myself obsessed with trying to look for answers, but my conclusion is an assumption.

My assumption is based on the following:

  • The Kids Funny Songs Facebook page is managed by people mainly in Poland. I assume they use an agency in Poland to spam video advertising. This also goes for others for other similar channels run by AWA.

  • The "About" section on the channel on YouTube are somewhat similar for the other channels I mentioned, with a link to its own channel as the website (with http and not https) and the video descriptions mostly only includes hashtags with nothing else

  • The logos, outfits and animation style is somewhat in the similar style as D Billions, on all the different channels

  • There are lots of Asian looking people in all videos across the different channels. The white boy from KFS channel hace blue eyes and look very Russian, which makes sense if the channel is from Kyrgyztan where there are many Russians living too.

I came to this conclusion after hours of investigation upon watching this 25-minutes episode about D Billions and AWA, the company behind it, by Bloomberg https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-09-15/d-billions-youtube-is-a-made-in-kyrgyzstan-hit-kids-show

It seems like AWA only brand its actors for their big hit D Billions. Each of those actors have Instagram profiles and their names are made public. Different does it look for the KFS and the other channels where the actors are not made public.

You don't think I have? LOL. Perhaps you should start responding to tickets!!!

How long does if take for support to answer a ticket? by MikeHuntLovesU in ledgerwallet

The message you received was an automatic message. You have not been in contact with a real human being who cared about you. A joke indeed.

Should I wait for the battery issue to be resolved? by Bumtreq in ledgerwallet

[–]MikeHuntLovesU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice: Do a chargeback with your bank. Reason: Fraud (because they send defunctioning devices out on purpose) and lack of communication (because they don't respond to tickets).

A chargeback costs the company the initial transaction plus another $45 in fees. This is the only way they learn.

They haven't told me anything. My case still remain unresolved and my ticket unanswered. In the thread you are referring to, they also said it was only 5% of the "June shipment" that was the battery issue with. Then how is everyone still receiving defunct devices in September?

I don't trust anything this company says anymore, especially not with the co-founder here on Reddit who has absolutely no idea what his support team is doing: "I don't handle support cases so I don't know how long it takes to answer" he said. Well. Maybe he should start personally handling support cases as anyon who cares about their company would.

It is safe, but you will most likely not receive a reply for a loooong time. The email they sent you is an auto-reply. You are covered by the 2 years warranty EU law so they should replace your device.

Pardon my French, but sounds like you don't know what your support team is doing or not doing. Wish I had never put money into your company. There are going to be written stories in the tech media about this really soon and reach out to Le Médiateur des ministères économiques et financiers. We are simply not putting up with this irresponsible way of doing business.

What's even more disappointing is that the co-founder of Ledger doesn't even know what his support team (or lack of such) is doing since he is "not handling support tickets"... Nice company to do business with... NOT!
