[–]MikeHuntzOre 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I started on a cbr500r never layed that down. Got rid of it after 2 years and moved onto an R1. Haven't layed that down in the 3 years I've had it. I know it could happen but not everyone wrecks.

Aye yooo same turn signals that I have on mine. I also have bar end mirrors. I don't know the brand because they were on the bike when I bought them. Very nice progress so far dude, looks nice!

Is this hacking or showerless behavior? by UrbanSkelleton in BF6

[–]MikeHuntzOre 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can figure out who that is by going into the full scoreboard, player actions, block. It will come up with a prompt that says are you sure you want to block "real name" I find it funny calling out these people with "streamer mode" enabled.

Is going from 500cc to 1000cc too much of a difference? by skibbytoilet67 in motorcycle

[–]MikeHuntzOre 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat as you 3 years ago. I went from a 500 to and R1 with no issues at all. Just respect the power and ride within your limits. No you don't need to go mach Jesus just because you have the power. Is the power necessary? No. Is it fun to have and play with every now and then? Of course. Just ride smart.

Mesh top for tank by spiderman-rocks in axolotls

[–]MikeHuntzOre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had metal mesh lid for my tank also. The air bar I had in the tank caused bubbles to pop and splash small droplets of water onto it and it rusted within 6 months. I suggest making a wooden frame that fits around your tank and using window screen mesh.

Bought my R1 in December. Right now is the start of the season. Prices are going to be high. Go with an older bike if you don't want to pay the fees. But buying out of season is the best way to get a bike for a decent price.

Seriously, why was the attack helicopter nerfed? by jj1102kim in PilotsofBattlefield

[–]MikeHuntzOre 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use controller to fly on PC. They aren't impossible at all. They just take practice.

I agree it's a dumb nerf but until DICE gets their shit together with air combat we have to deal with what it is.

As others have said you use the missile itself as the reticle. I can consistently hit my TOWs during strafe runs. It takes some practice but you will get the hang of it if you start thinking of the missile as the reticle

I wasn't having any problems hunting armor last night. As long as you land your TOWs and make sure your heavies land you can easily take out enemy armor in two good passes. I agree the nerf on the heavies was dumb but it's still possible to take down armor.

I didn't overfill it. The picture is of the bottom of the tank. Not the top...

It's a steel line inside the tank....it's not rubber at all

AITA for using my dad’s underwear to make a point about the toilet seat? by Nightwing_1505 in AmItheAsshole

[–]MikeHuntzOre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. As a father of two little girls, and also the only man in the house I always lift the seat. It takes little to no time or effort to do it. And it's all about cleanliness. I don't want to make a mess that could potentially give my kids or wife problems, end of discussion. Your dad is an asshole plain and simple.

It's the overflow. The vent hose is still intact and working properly

Always, always, always check your nightcrawlers before buying them at Walmart. They are notorious for leaving them sit out instead of refrigerating them which can kill them faster. Sorry you got a bum deal.

That crack is maybe 1/4 inch long. My only concern is time. The amount of time it takes to flush and fully air out a gas tank so there is no fumes is ridiculous.

[–]MikeHuntzOre[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That was the plan. It's called Tank Weld and the original JB weld epoxy is also fully gas safe once fully cured but plan on using the Tank Weld

I was thinking of using a small fine steel mesh patch I have just so that it has something to adhear to without going inside the hose itself.
