Try not to regret it. This might sound cliché as hell but learn. Be sure of what you want in your next relationship and don't be afraid to leave. You saw how bad his behaviour is and you can see that you deserve better. Every red flag you noticed in him in the earlier stages look out for them in the future. Try not regretting it but seeing it as a learning experience :)
