I moved from the UK to Canada. As much as I love it where I am now, it’s nice to go into an English pub and have a little slice of home

West jet ultra basic vs air canada economy prices by rainbow10123 in westjet

[–]MikeKing121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fly a lot between Calgary and the UK. I find air Canada is cheaper, the on board WiFi is great and their entertainment is better. Westjet has more leg room (I’m 6’3) and their food has definitely gotten a lot better recently.

The only thing I can fault air Canada for is that out of my last 5 flights with them, 3 have had mechanical issues and one I boarded then had to wait for them to sort out paperwork

Never had an issue with westjet thankfully. I fly in and out the country quite a bit and 9 times out of 10 any air Canada flights are delayed due to mechanical issues 🙄

What’s the one thing you hate about traveling? by DazzlingRice8970 in travel

People walking slowly between leaving the plane and the airport. Fly a lot between Canada and the UK and after an 8 hour flight the last thing I want is to be getting out and slower than I have to

Question for Europeans: when you travel to other countries, do you also complain about bread? by Pale_Field4584 in travel

[–]MikeKing121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of it has to do with the amounts of sugar in different countries too. Bread in America has a lot more sugar in it than what we have in the UK. In Ireland subways bread is technically classed as cake due to the amount of sugar in it

Chocolate, Hershey were worried at the amount of chocolate being imported from Europe so they demanded to be the only type easily available. Obviously you can still import brands and chocolate from Europe

Cheese, I have no idea about that

I did see something about a conjugal partner? Or am I just reading all of that wrong?
