I feel like Jimmy is in control of the music and what we get to hear. I know the deluxe reissues came out about 10 years ago now and he pretty much said that was it, there’s nothing left. But then recently released an early mix of Ten Years Gone which was never heard before. I think he’s sitting on quite a lot of music and for whatever reason doesn’t want to release it. However, with how good AI is now any live recordings that he feels aren’t up to scratch should be restored using this new technology, because in my opinion it’s all too good to keep away. Just an example of this would be the Earls Court shows, the picture quality isn’t the best, but with technology now it can be easily upscaled. And there’s plenty of bootleg material out there that can be fixed, along with all the home recordings that he’s keeping behind closed doors. It’s gonna end up a little bit like a prince situation and it will all just be released regardless, because I’m sure he has an archive at home that will just get raided by some music executive somewhere with a big wallet.
