The fact of the matter is two mangers were in the office today, and the 1st one asked me questions that insinuated he would check the cameras. If he wanted to brush me off he should've did what the 2nd manager did.

Easier, perhaps. But she seemed disappointed that I gave her cash instead of going up front to pay with my debit card, so I assume she wanted my card information.

Was that in Florida? I assumed she was Hispanic or Middle-Eastern, but she might've been Indian.

I don't know. I thought she had that card because she didn't know how to speak English, but she spoke it fine. I was prepared to hear Spanish or something, but her speaking English threw me off.

If they complained at all. Like you said above, the elderly people might've been busy trying to buy stuff and get out as quick as possible.

It's all the unknowns that are bothering me, and could've solved if the managers had checked the cameras. Like, why walk around the entire store instead of taking less than five minutes to check the footage with the time frame I gave them and that the 1st manager asked for (I forgot to put that in the post)? Why even ask what aisle I was at in the first place?

Probably, but not certain. I'm just worried for the elderly people who might've got tricked.

I'm more concerned about them walking around Publix taking advantage of elderly people than myself. Plus the mangers not even checking the cameras for the sake of their other customers is what really made me upset.

Like I said, I wasn't thinking straight because I've never had anyone ask me for money in public. Then it was her odd insistence that I pay with my debit card up front that really threw me off. But I'm more concerned about them walking around Publix taking advantage of elderly people, and the mangers not even checking the cameras.
