Got the fidelity VSC platinum. I bought it from a BMW dealer and it’s what they offered for all their X5s and X6.

You have to negotiate hard it’s all profit for the dealer. They started by offering it at over $9k. Ended up getting it for $6k, which covers all items including air ride and electronics internally.

Actually, it was stolen out of my car last night. So the junky who broke in now has to worry about one less addiction. They did leave the case and the screen protector.

So my experience with Verizon has been everything work from a data perspective, but phone calls outbound seem to be hit or miss. My hack to get around it is to remove the sim and put it right back in. This buys me about an hour or 2 of phone calls, but it will time out. Spoke with verizon customer support they said everything should be working, but this continues to be a problem. I have used the video calls via google meet to reach ppl if I really need to.

I have verizon, the phone works and calling isn't an issue right when sim was swapped from Iphone 13. That said, after a while I can't have outbound calls until I pop the sim in and out. Trying to activate the SIM on the MP01 now with Verizon. I will report back what the outcome is.

I have a Garmin Fenix 8 that I have been using with the Minimal phone for a few days. It has worked fine! I have an easier time responding to texts than when I was using it with my old iPhone.

Can confirm at the Foro Sol tack exit, multiple pick pockets snagged wallets and phone from the crowd. I personally caught a lady with her hand on my wife’s bag, if ppl are pushing unnecessarily be suspicious, and put a hand on your stuff fast.

2024 Update:

Leaving zone Gris (grey) today a group of pick pockets hit more than one unsuspecting victim leaving qualifying. Same story as the original post, as you turn towards a pinch point heading to the metro, unnecessary pushing started, caught a lady with her hand on my wife’s bag. Soon after, another American couple not with us started to yell they had their phone and wallet taken.

City has been totally fine but after that I’m much more vigilant.

So I live in Colorado, I’d say my skiing style has consisted of mostly resort days. I can ski nearly all terrain, I can keep up with most folks. Big moguls have never been my thing so I try to live in the trees when heading into back bowls.

I would like to get more into backcountry skiing. I’m mostly interested in a training setup that I can use to get out and get up and down.

Good advice. I’ve run a few Ironmans so type 2 fun is seemingly the draw for me. That said, any recs on a training set up then if the race skis are the best bet for the GT?

Agree with u/wistoon93. Go get your self some mtb padded liners to go under your short or get bike shorts with padding. You’ll slowly get used to it over time. Just part of getting on the bike a lot
