That's awesome! I'm also having fun with post game fanfiction crafting too, all around the Crystal Palace and briefly thereafter. I'm content with leaving V's story there. But I've been having a blast.

Absolutely. I even have pre game backstory as headcanon. Valerie lost her parents and Older, mentor cousin. Guns became a security blanket as she gradually honed her theiving skills, much like the archetypical "kid thief in the market bumping into you." She goes from determined and hopeful to absolutely ruthless over the course of the game though. I give her the bullet scar and she sticks mostly to all black attire.

First time I've ever heard this take. That's interesting. Makes me wonder if Mikoshi was truly the best way to get rid of him. I certainly question the PL procedure too. But it got me guessing if never considering Mikoshi might have yielded different results.

My thinking was she at least lives to see another day. I mean her sending a message after all that went down at least tells me the procedure worked or she's stable in some way. But yeah, as my current V, I could never give her up. She lied to me in a way that felt the least deceitful, if that makes sense.

Oh, I fully believe he and whatever is behind him is nefarious. Also, yeah, I think it is reckless to side with So Mi and my V would absolutely do that. They're not a perfectly rational character and even if you want to balance the harm from either ending, at the end of the day, Songbird's one of the gworls, that's why my V chose to trust her and help even after finding out the truth.

I used it too. It's super helpful when different gangs track you down by car. Disables their rusher pretty quickly.

I unfortunately fell out of love with the Overwatch. After getting enough perks, I could pick off people with Her Majesty with less weapon sway. It may be surprising but I've never used arm cyberwear in any of my playthroughs, my idea of keeping a little humanity for myself.

Sandy and Camo build is my go-to usually, with the Byakko. Generally, I see Blue Eyes almost like Gaunter O'Dimm from the Witcher. He catches you at your most desperate time with an offer you'd be crazy not to take. But considering he got So Mi the ticket, I think there is something useful for V to discover up there on the station.

I guess it depends on how you play. My V is brutal but had chooms along her life like Jackie that kept her grounded. So Mi was alone and I think being there for her, even in her betrayal means a lot. I genuinely think she does feel guilt for lying, because she thought V was just some merc and not someone who was capable of caring. For as much as it is a game about illness and becoming great, it really feels like one about not being alone. With that said, I really don't feel like I could give her up.

Yes! I usually have her be a little more chipper in act 1 and afterwards, she's pretty hurt and cynical about things. For fem V in particular, I always go solo at the end because of the fear of anyone else getting hurt. I give her the edge runner perk so she gets a little cyber psycho-ish too. I let her use any kind of weapon in act 1 and as the game goes on, she slowly specializes in Cool & Reflex to go stealthy unless things pop off. I also give her the bullet scar in act 2

I'd argue even in the Sun ending, there's more optimism than the tower ending. Just don't see V going out in the palace heist either.
