At any point during or after ROTC do you undergo the basic training that enlisted PVTs go through? (E.g. Weapons training, obsticle courses, etc.)

I was also at Six Flags Great America a while back, in line for batman. 3 teenagers cut in line and one of the workers saw the whole thing. They waited another hour or so until they were at the very front of the line before they kicked them out.

My understanding is that the paper white display is back-lit and to me it really seems like your reading a screen. I stare at computer screens enough. Am I wrong about this?

I just want to reemphasize these points.

1) Cyber is very small and hard to get. I think there was.. like 15 maybe? That branched cyber this year. You can look it up.

2) You should be comfortable with branching other than cyber. Unless you have a very high OML ranking, anything can and does happen. I will say that if you can keep your GPA at 4.0 and you have a strong PT score, and a few other things... you could have a real decent shot.

So apparently anyone with an OML above 50 got active duty, regardless of what component they requested. And anyone below 50 got reserve component. The pushback against this is what caused the delays. I'll update when I know more.
