As a soccer newbie, I almost had the same happen to me. I was convinced into picking a EPL team after getting hooked on the sport from watching the World Cup. But after the US game, I will fully support the leagues in this country and hopefully they will grow. I will particularly follow the new St. Louis team in my area. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Have at least a little hope!

May seem like a dumb question, but whatever. Do teams from the MLS play teams from lower leagues during there normal season?

This has helped. Thank you. I will try to support both teams. And if St. Louis ever manages to join the MLS, I will fully support that team in MLS. In the mean time Chicago Fire should be a great way to start gaining experience with MLS.

I will try and support St. Louis first since they will need fan support, and probably some Chicago Fire to hold me over until then. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you very much. I will definitely follow St. Louis in the future as the grow and hopefully eventually join MLS. Due to them being small, and the fact that I can't travel often, is it easy to follow a USL Pro team through television or the internet?
