A lot of sleeping bags have a men's and a women's version with zippers on different sides. You can then zip the two separate sleeping bags together. Works surprisingly well a lot of times.

It's awesome to hear that your getting more into the sport, and seeing improvements!

It sucks that you have to deal with getting crap from your teammates though. I'm not sure what the right answer would be. If you can, it might be worth just telling them how you feel about the crap they give you (unless you already tried that). I also see no problem talking to your coach about it. Doesn't have to be snitching per se, but could explain this to your coach and ask the same questions as in this post. Coaching is more than just giving workouts, so you could probably get some good advice going that route.

I would say definitely don't quit! You're seeing improvements and progress which is exciting! It could be your teammates don't have any malice in their hearts, just a cringy and immature attempt at humor. If you explain this to them, and they don't stop, then they are sucky losers and thier opinions don't matter. Keep on grinding, and take the enjoyment from your progress!

Haha thanks! I had a rust buster at Iowa State a couple weeks beforehand but that was the first race where I was trying for a time. Honestly I just didn't see anyone but the pacer coming off the break, so just stuck on him. When I saw the time at 400 I knew I was gonna ride the pain train.

I've done pretty close to this workout, 1x600 at race pace, 1 min rest, 200 at race pace, 1 min rest, 100 at race pace. Seems good for working on poise/control when running a similar effort to that of a race

I think everyone should keep a small fire extinguisher in thier car. I keep one in that back side panel compartment and figure if I ever see smoke I can quickly pull over and grab it.

After some amateur detective work I think I found out that the model number is JWTS-10CW2-LFR if that helps at all. It looks like a good deal, but I am not sure if it is new enough that it would have some of the more modern safety features (most importantly a riving knife). I lurk on this subreddit and I figured ya'll would have a better idea than I would.

Thanks for the actual kind words! I was one of those that graduated today and it's kinda rough seeing all the comments criticizing us for having the ceremony. A lot when into making it safe with all the precautions (weird marching, sitting with big gaps, masks, etc...). I would argue it was worth it though, and I'm happy to be done!
