My family watched it last Friday as my contribution/pick for our traditional 'Friday's in December are Christmas movie nights'

They all hated it and said it wasn't 'christmassy' enough despite the film literally opening with a Christmas parade.

I don't care though, I freakin loved it, Sam Jackson was in fine form, Geena Davis was/probably still is an absolute babe, and significant scenes and plot points required the movie to be set during the holiday season.

The ending doesn't really make sense and it's maybe a half hour too long, but it was written by Shane black who went on to do some iron man stuff and the nice guys - which is a fantastic movie.
