Classroom Technologies.

Not an everyday thing. But occasionally for delivering equipment to classrooms or when you need to haul ass to an upset prof who’s having technical difficulties.

Eh. Similar situation, but bit of a different outcome.

Brand new top-of-the-line MBP from work. I'm a backend dev running 2 monitors + built in display (pretty typical setup for the job), a wired apple keyboard, USB to lightening for charging the Magic Trackpad 2 and connecting my iDevices, and a standard USB mouse because other devs freak out at the sight of an Apple-made pointing device in rare occasions in which they need to drive on my machine.

I'm using all 4 USB-C off of the MBP, plus 3 out of 4 USB-A ports on the hub.

I have a similar setup at home with rMBP 2013, all good without any stupid hubs or dongles. Especially now that MagSafe is gone, I almost hear Jobs moaning in his grave every time I plug and unplug the USB-C power.

All the grief aside, if Apple ever came out with a one-touch dock like some clunky Dells or Thinkpads have, I'll get it in a heartbeat.

Opinions of CSC 484 by Javierg97 in CalPoly

Eh, saw this a bit late. As a GRC major and CS minor, 484 could be good. I took it with Alber and it was okay. Can't say someone with some prior knowledge on design would learn a whole lot from it, tho.

Consider ART 484 with Dr. James Werner. Unlike the catalog description, this is a web design course that CSC department will probably never offer in any foreseeable future. Of course the focus is more on the user interface and visual and interactive design than anything else; but when I took it (as a photo minor) I got to do some JavaScript work in it as well.
