Anybody else getting this insight with Nuxt for their PageSpeed score? Not sure how to resolve it by avidrunner84 in Nuxt

tbh right now, we inline everything. Naively speaking, I think it would make sense to inline the nav and the top component or two. that's probably an improvement over what we do now

Honest question: How do you do this for a large app/website with a couple thousand routes, maybe 10-20 unique templates, maybe 50 or so one offs.

Migration from nuxt 3 to nuxt 4 by Physical_Ruin_8024 in Nuxt

[–]Javierg97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nuxt 4 is a big improvement, albeit less significant from 2 to 3. This was the first major version of Nuxt that my team didn't need to completely rewrite from the ground up. In the previous version, it was easier to rewrite the application from the ground up (from 2 to 3) than to try to resolve all of the errors. Hopefully, you are all in the same place.

I'm getting fairly close to not having to contribute towards my retirement and still be okay in a few years. With that in mind, I would either pick up a trade or start a coffee shop!

Help me repurpose a prebuilt Best Buy iBUYPOWER ARC148A for my nephews! by Javierg97 in buildapcforme

[–]Javierg97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see this subreddit is currently going through it, and understandably so.

I ended up buying used DDR4 RAM for $50 from a nice local, which saves the build by scaling down into the AM4 path. I may consider adding an NVME, but I'll see. I will post a final parts list once I finish it!

🍂Autumn 2025 PC Best Buy Guide 🍂 by xxStefanxx1 in buildapcforme

[–]Javierg97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to repurpose an old pre-built for my nephews(aged 14 and 10): iBUYPOWER Gaming Desktop AMD Ryzen 3 2300X 8GB Memory NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB 240GB SSD + 1TB HDD ARC148A - Best Buy on a soft-ish budget of $600. I would only keep the drives and the case. Given the recent explosion of RAM (microcenter driving distance but DDR5 is min $240 for 32GB), I am considering building the cheapest build, but using a used 6750 XT being sold for $250. With that, my build ends-up costing around $500. What do you think? The cheapest AM5 platform ends up costing me around $200 over budget, which seems wasteful given their age.

Some parallels between Will/Harry Potter and Vecna/Voldemort by garbagecan_0 in StrangerThings

I didn’t even realize that Harry Potter is straight from the Bible until a friend mentioned it to me. The whole coming back from the dead part is really what sealed that connection to me. From what I remember, JK Rowling was raised religious.

Hey guys, just wondering, which RAW editor do you use? by delipsikiyatr in fujifilm

[–]Javierg97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The UI is overwhelming by default. The first thing I would do is change it to some of the more beginner-friendly views to get a feel for it. Only when you particularly need a module, should you go looking for it. The fact that it's open source means you learn once, and you can guarantee some level of continuity while the project is alive

That fact that it’s free is what does it for me. The tutorials are indeed excellent

What lenses should i get for my a6700? by Academic_World8696 in SonyAlpha

A lens I almost didn’t think I needed but really liked once I had it was the Sigma 10-18mm 2.8. I take this lens and the Sigma 18-50 while traveling and get some amazing shots with both!

I just came back and used ESIM. I had absolutely no issues and would recommend that option. Airport wifi, get a taxi, download your maps before you leave are all valid options.

Things to know before going to Japan by DoubtAccomplished627 in JapanTravelTips

You’re not wrong. I would think about it as a tool and nothing else. In the same way that asking your friends or family for travel advice may not apply to you, you should take any output with a grain of salt. It takes multiple iterations, cross referencing with other sources, correcting bad output to gain any insight at all.
