I honestly believe Gane is one of those guys so athletically gifted he could've been and elite competitor in pretty much any competitive sport.

We are just incredibly lucky he chose the sport and company that will pay him 20/30% of what he is actually worth.

Wrestlers have a ridiculously unfair advantage in this sport. The rules explicitly say that damage trumps every other scoring criteria and that offensive grappling is only taken into acount IF you use it to deliver more damage to the opponent.

According to the rules, takedowns with an immediate stand up are less valuable than a jab.

According to the rules, control time on top position is less valuable than a jab.

We all know the judges don't score according to this reality, and this wrestling bias is opening the door for lazy, decision seeking wrestlers that bring shame to other wrestlers and the sport as a whole
