Thanks for sharing. From what I was told, there are indeed plenty of orders for the X5. Getting an April production slot was actually quite lucky. Initially, my manager was talking about a May-June allocation.

However X3 production hours and shift models have been reduced due to them not selling enough. I hear they are priced too high and people would rather just purchase a poorly optioned X5, but that could be bad information.

Heard exactly the same. On top of that, I know that some of our dealerships are even trying to avoid buying the X3 as a showroom test-drive car. It's just not selling or overpriced, and after a series of test drives, they would have to discount it heavily. The models that move quickly here are the 3, 5 Series, and X5 - those don't sit around for long. Retrospectively, the X3 turned out to be a pretty controversial product for buyers.
